Yes we've Put out the 1.0beta version of the WSO2 Mashup Server. With the state of affairs at the beginning of December we were in doubt whether we would be able to get the release out before the end of the year. Thanks to the tremendous effort put in by the Mashup Server team we were able to make the release before the holidays. And what a successful release it has been, we were able to get in all the crucial features we think are important to make an 1.0.
A notable improvement in this release is the revamped management interface. We did send a hint with the previous release that we plan to restructure the management interface and improve community features. The new interface has a Web 2.0 look and feel and has features such as Improved multi-user and community support, Email-verified self-registration, Comments, tags, ratings, Sophisticated search capabilities to locate and group mashups, RSS and Atom feeds for any query, Recent activity queries. These tasks were made possible by a couple of other projects coming up at WSO2. They were namely the WSO2 User Manager and the WSO2 Registry.
You can try out the WSO2 Mashup Server without even downloading at http://mashups.wso2.org/. But I do encourage you to download it and try it out.
